Well today is Wesnday, Mutual night. I went last night to Wal*Mart to find a swimsuit, but they were either too big or too small. I gave up looking for one. This afternoon a little before I was getting ready to go th docks, I went outside to find two men talking to Dad about his gun, I went downstairs and heard shots. I came up about 10 minutes later and found out they were just practice. Practice? But I got in the car waiting for Dad to get ready to leave when I looked ou the window and saw Dallin. "Hey buddy, Where is Christie and Lisa?" I asked Dad where they were and we called and clapped and whistle, but no Lisa and Christie. I'm scared for them that they ran off while they were shooting the gun. We currently still don't know where they are but we have high hopes for the brave souls. Today came and I was depressed for some reason. I did't feel like going boating. But I finally decided, Hay, what have I got to lose? So Dad and I searched around all the docks in Burley, and Finally found the one. When Dad left, I felt lonely, No Camille. Finally after some time went by, Camille came by and we went over on the docks and put our feet in the water at talked and laughed a bit. After 5 minutes of that, They were ready to take the boat out for the tube. The tube that was connected to the boat by a rope, was a plain surface, with 2 little walls evely placed horizontally, so it could fit 3 people comfortably. Once 3 of the boys were in the tube, we started the boat up, The man that was driving, Mr. Ontriveroes, plugged in his MP3 and played, "Waiting for a star to fall" We started the boat and went all over the river, I couldn't help but smiling. This was my first time on a boat!! After the guys on the tube flipped over, it was Camille, Spencer(Camille's brother), and my turn. We went on and it was fun, until we went to dock, our turn was short. After that, Camille and I just wandered the docks with Noel and the others, Camille decided to go swim. So Noel and Camille got a life jacket and jumped in. I measly jumped in. I was scared. Not of dieing, no no but there was icky stuff in the water that could make me sick. After coming up to the surface I gave out a surprised scream, the water was FREEZING! After getting out of that and getting Camille's wet towel over me (I wasn't wearing a swimsuit so if I got wet my unmeantionables would show!) and goofed off until we were ready to ride again. The next batch of guys went and when they got dumped, the driver looked back at them, and a huge wave, not violent, but huge, came in the boat, washing down the drivers MP3, carpet, seats, alot of things. The MP3 didn't die which was a huge surprise for me, and it was now Camille, Kody, and my turn again. I was a little more wilder on this ride, as Patrick kept pointing thumbs up for more wilder, I always did thumbs up to him and we laughed and screamed with joy! About 15 minutes after this, we were still going strong until two huge waves the boat had made were coming right toward us, so we were going to flip!!!! I was so excited, and I knew what was about to happen so I closed my eyes and searched for my nose, blindless and indeed estactic. All I remember next was that the tube was swept off underneath me and I went not too far into the water till I jumped back into the air, probably because of the life jacket, and went back down farther into the water. I then began to FREAK OUT! But luckly my life jacket was on as I said earlier and after blowing water out of my nose and rubbing my eyes, Camille and I locked eyes, and we looked at each other like, Holy Crap! LOL Then the boat came back and got us. Camille and Kody said that it hurt when they flipped, but for me, it was all fun and games. After getting into the boat, the driver handed us a towel, about as big as a blanket, and set us up front where we put the towel/blanket over us and he put heaters under our blanket to keep us warm, after the next ride of the tube flipped, Noel joined us. Heading back to land was nice, but the docks are definatly going to be a teen hang out for me. (Tell me your teen hangouts just for the fun of it in the comments!) After that one of the leaders drove Camille, Noel, and me back to our houses. That was fun, and I'm glad I didn't miss a beat of it! Well here is the update with the two missing dogs, While driving here this morning with Dad leaving off because he was late, I was going to put Dallin in the pen, when Chrissie came out of the pen, I quietly screamed her name and hugged her and held her. So its one down and one to go. I'm tired. BYE!!!! ;Þ
Don't worry Natalie, you'll find your dogs. I also wanted to say that I really like your patriotic background. It looks really nice. You said in your blog that you wanted to know where we hung out as teens. I would say the places we hung out were at the Burley docks like you did, Dairy Queen, friend's houses, and wherever people wanted to go.
