Today we had church of course today, and I brought my friendsship bracelet I was working on.
I was so close to finishing and who was going to notice it anyways? When we got there, I secretly started working on it, and then a Dad with a little boy and girl came up and sat in front of us. Great. She will keep staring and me and asking me silly questions. And she did just that. I never got my bracelet done, almost all the talks were boring, and all the children seemed like they were crying. After that we went to our higher class and discussed Woodruff ( I don`t know how to spell his name!!) and how he always got hurt physically but never killed, becuse Heavenly Father protected him. Here are some of the things that happened to him. He fell into a boiler of scalding hot water, got hurt by ALOT of runaway horses. Seriously, Our teacher remarked him getting hurt several times by runaway horses. Then he got kicked in the stomach by an ox, which would usually kill a person, falling from high places, like beams and trees, and breaking his legs several times, after our teachers listing all of the unfortanate events, he asked us what we have learned from this, and Ainsly replied," You think he would be smarter just to stay away from high places and runaway horses!" We all laughed at that. Then the girls left for Young Womens and I don`t know where the guys go so I`m clueless there. We pretty much talked about Young Womens camp and Sydnee, Camile and I got our camp manuals and I went through every page, reading about flint and steel, poisin ivy (Always reminds me of Amber lol) oak ivy, different types of fires, like the lazy man fire, or the star fire, the teepee fire, and the raft fire. It had alot of knowledge about it and I learned so much today that wasn`t about church! I also learned how to use the SOS signal, Different clouds that bring different weather, making it nice predicting the weather while camping, shelter and cooking methods. I`m going to keep that book FOREVER!!! Our lesson went really fast and before I knew it, chruch was over and Camile and I were on the stage steps with her family. While I was tickling Brigham, Camile brought up the subject of how Brother Wassom had scared the girls last year in camp because he made bear sounds and he got in trouble because of it. After that we talked about all that was happening this week and I said that I might not come to the stake Young Womens recognition because Ally was going to be there and I try to avoid her. Camile said," You don`t need to worry about her, don`t let her stop you from learning and being educated." She gives as good as advice and Jen does! (good advice lol) So if Ally is at the Stake thing while I`m there, she is just going to have to give me the evil eye, Because I`m not going to be her enemy nor her friend. She is probably OK with that fact anyways so whatever, I have friends too. I`m at Tyna`s house and He had a tiny hailstorm and it scared the sheepsnot out of me, When I was writing this post a couple of seconds, I heard the dogs bark and I took off my earplugs and the wind was howling, and I thought of a tonardo and I leaped over the dining table and knocked on Tyna`s and Dads door with 60 beats a minute, my eyes as big as sewer lids, my heart racing like a racehorse, and my mind confused and scrambled. He said it was going to be ok, but I`m still scared!!! I might go say a prayer if anything else gets worse. The one thing I noticed in sacrament though, is that as Brother Brinkerhof said that this ward was like his second family, becasue most of his family is dead, I nodded my head and smiled with understanding. Mom and Dad fought in front of me as a child, Jen and Amber left for college and to start their new lives when I was a child, and I always felt alone and lost as a child. But I did, and still do think of my ward as my family. I love my church, and I remember tramping in the Gym playing with other kids and yelling, only to get shhhed by parents. Well that`s all for today guys, see you later.
When did Amber get poison ivy? I got stinging nettle one time at Girls Camp.
ReplyDeleteJust a side note, Natalie. You should change that purple writing. It is really hard to read on the black background and is freaking my eyes out.
